Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only one of Richard McCormick. Her family consisted of an aunt who worked as an housewife, and her father who was a teacher. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick always enjoyed dancing, singing and creating show puppets. When she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was 6 years old, Pat Domigan called from Jack Wormser Agency to see if McCormick wanted to get involved in the industry of entertainment. McCormick landed her first major work in 1964, when she starred in a television commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she starred as Chatty Cathy in a commercial which was later adapted for The Wind It Up And It's Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from 1200 kids to be the youngest of three twin daughters in the TV program The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick's book Heres the Story, Surviving Marcia Brady: Finding My True Voice was released in 2008. In it she revealed that McCormick almost lost her virginity on stage of the show during its fifth season to Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was 16. It could have been according to her. The timing for our relationship wasn't right.
