Maureen Denise McCormick, the sole daughter of Richard McCormick Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills California on 5 August 1956. Her family consisted of an aunt who worked as household worker and father who was a teacher. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was among 1200 other children who auditioned for the role of the eldest towheaded daughter in The Brady Bunch. The sitcom starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed who were newlyweds with the same family as a blended one. The show lasted for five seasons.
