Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5th, 1956 on the outskirts of Woodland Hills California. Her father was an educator at school and her mom was a stay at home mom. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick always enjoyed dancing, singing and creating puppet shows. When she was just 6, McCormick won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether the actress was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick was hired to star in her first big role in 1964 in an tv commercial featuring Mattels latest doll Baby Pattaburp. Later that year she did another commercial for the companys Chatty Cathy doll and was later cast in the show Wind It up and It is Broken on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick won an audition in 1969 from over 1,200 youngsters to be the youngest of three twins on The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed with Robert Reed. The five-year run of The Brady Bunch was an enormous successful one. McCormick admitted her story in Heres the Story.
